Each year for Mother’s Day, National Bail Out raises funds for their #FreeBlackMamas Black Mama’s Bail Out. NBO pays bail and helps to reunite black mothers with their families for Mother’s Day and all year long. These women sometimes sit in jail for months or years, not because of a crime they’ve committed, but simply because they can’t afford bail while awaiting trial. Support their work to end pretrial detention and donate directly HERE.
