Cannabis and hemp are both varieties of the Cannabis sativa plant. Yes, they are the same plant. The difference lies in their cannabinoid profile and effects. Hemp is Cannabis sativa with less than 0.3% THC and typically high percentages of CBD (5-20%). Cannabis or marijuana are terms for Cannabis sativa with more than 0.3% THC and typically lower percentages of CBD.

We use full-spectrum hemp instead of isolate because the plant offers more benefits in this closer-to-whole plant form. CBD works synergistically with other cannabinoids such as CBA, CBN and THC to benefit our bodies. Research shows that the combination of these cannabinoids can help us more than just CBD alone.

CBD isolate is often used in products claiming 99.9% CBD or THC-free. In order to create CBD isolate, the other helpful cannabinoids and terpenes are removed. We believe these components should not be removed because they work synergistically within our bodies. We offer only full-spectrum hemp instead of isolated CBD in order to provide the most benefit.

Yes! Our Full-size Flavorless CBD Drops contain 600mg of Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract (aka 600mg of CBD). Our Travel-size Flavorless CBD Drops contain 120mg of Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract (aka CBD). Our bottles say Full-Spectrum Hemp instead of CBD because we are offering hemp extract-infused oil that focuses on the whole plant, rather than just one part of the plant.

Our CBD Drops are created from a simple 2-ingredient formula: MCT coconut oil + full-spectrum hemp extract. MCT is virtually flavorless with a smooth texture and the hemp extract adds a subtle earthy hint. Although we recommend placing directly under you tongue for maximum absorption, you can add this oil to food like smoothies or salad without vastly affecting the flavor of the dish.

No, CBD has been known to counter balance the effects or high of THC. This means it is highly unlikely that you feel the less than 0.3% THC present in our products. CBD has a subtle balancing effect that doesn’t feel intoxicating like high-THC cannabis.

It is possible that THC could show up in small amounts and cause a false positive. Use caution with regular use of our ingestible products if you’re concerned about passing a drug screening
