What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is the most abundant, non-intoxicating cannabinoid or plant compound found in hemp and cannabis flowers. It’s benefits overlap with that of the most famous cannabinoid, THC, but CBD comes without the added “high” or “stoned” feeling.1 Learn more about this magical compound from Project CBD HERE

WHY CBD?

Research shows that CBD is a potent body-regulating and anti-oxidant compound with a myriad of potential therapeutic effects.1 Scientists are learning more everyday as more countries legalize hemp and cannabis, allowing much needed research to occur.2 In our world, folks share stories everyday about how CBD makes life better for them– a more rested and a more grounded existence. HOW DOES IT WORK WITH OUR BODIES?

Humans have co-evolved with the cannabis plant for thousands of years. Undiscovered until 1988, we have a system within our bodies made to interact with CBD, THC and other cannabinoids from endogenous (within the body) or exogenous (of external origin) sources.3
